This Green Corridor video was created by Wellington Town Council with a commentary by the Chief Executive, Dave Farrow. It shows the extent of the Green Corridor. Which forms a natural separation between Wellington and Rockwell Green. One day it hoped that this will be part of a wildlife corridor linking the Blackdown Hills and the Quantocks.

Within the Green Corridor is Fox’s Field and the forest garden created and maintained by Transition Town Wellington. Seeing this area from above gives a good idea of the scale of this project. It has been developed by TTW over the past few years.

If you haven’t done so already, make sure you visit the Fox’s Field Forest Garden and do some foraging. You will find lots of berries and herbs to choose from and in the coming years, when trees have matured, there will be fruit and nuts free for the taking.
