Support

You can support TTW physically, financially – or both!

What will your donation go towards?
£1 for bulbs to provide groundcover and early nectar for bees
£3 = 1 herb plant providing free food or medicine for the community
£6 = 1 fence post to build a compost bay, add a sign or anchor a trellis
£7 = 1 bag of compost (peat-free, of course)
£10-£50 for forest garden trees
£70 = fliers to advertise an event
£150 = 1 scythe
We apply for grants for specific projects, and rely on donations for all our other running and incidental costs. None of the money goes towards paying staff, as we are entirely run by volunteers.

Leaving a legacy

You may also consider leaving a legacy. Protect the town you love for the next generation.

Imagine leaving a gift that allows others to live in a town richer in wildlife and less dependant on fossil fuels in the years to come. A gift that will provide a fairer future for the people and wildlife of Wellington.

If you decide to leave a gift to TTW, it’s straightforward to include this in your Will. All you will need to take is the following information to your Financial Advisor:

Beneficiary organisation: Transition Town Wellington

Barclays Bank

Account no: 33385396

Sort Code: 20 04 59
