Apple picking @ Rewe Farm
It’s apple harvest time again and that means the annual highlight of TTW’s Apple Juice Project is back to make juice for the 2026-7 season! Last year we made over 1000 bottles with a bumper harvest and two pressing dates. Due to the drought the harvest is earlier and smaller this year, but the apples are still making a fine juice. We’re looking for volunteers to help with careful picking to minimise bruising, and our fun juicing day at Brendon Orchards, where we press all the apples and pasteurise them so the juice lasts up to a year and can be sold to raise money for TTW’s other projects. Everyone is welcome to help, no experience is necessary.
