After a 10 year absence Somerset Council has been operating the No.27 Wivey bus on a trial basis two days a week since April last year. The service links Wiveliscombe (Langley Cross) and West Buckland via Milverton, Langford Budville and Wellington High Street.

We’re pleased to report that from 7th April the trial is extending into its second year with an enhanced service running three days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

A spokesman from the Wivey-Welly Bus User Group said ‘we are continuing to promote this service so that it prospers and hope that passengers will continue to support it in increasing numbers so that we are never again faced with the possibility of its loss’.
