The Wildlife of Wellington’s Waterways event on Thursday 20th March was a great success. The TTW Wildlife Group arranged for a series of talks to be held at Braziers. This was a “sell out” event with £573.10 raised to go towards projects in Wellington.

People had come along to hear about otters, water voles and the River Tone from three wonderful speakers. There was a huge amount of enthusiasm generated during the evening, with lots of lively conversation and people enjoying the home made cake donated by TTW volunteers. Many thanks Dr Rob Williams from the Somerset Otter Group, Nathanial Legall from the Somerset Mammal Group, James Grischeff, director of Nature Recovery from the Somerset Wildlife Trust, TTW Wellington Water Group and to Braziers for allowing us to use their venue.
