Following the receipt of various RHS awards including the Gold award overall from Britain in Bloom, Transition Town Wellington (TTW) has now been featured in the RHS magazine. There you can find an article mainly focused on Fox’s Field, including an interview with Helen Gillingham. In the article Helen explains the ethos behind TTW including the provision of food for local residents, support for wildlife and biodiversity and to help tackle the causes of climate change. All this is aimed at making Wellington a more sustainable place to live. For a relatively small local group being featured in this magazine is a reward for the hard work put in by so many volunteers.
