The plans for the Grand Western Greenway linking Wellington and Taunton have received an important endorsement from the NHS. The Chief Executive and Chief Nurse of the Somerset NHS Trust have pledged NHS support for the Greenway. The NHS is the largest employer in Somerset and so this support is important.

In this video, Charles Briscoe talks with Hayley Peters (Chief Nurse) and Peter Lewis (Chief Executive) from Musgrove Park Hospital. They discuss the benefits the Greenway would provide to both staff and patients. They also refer to the health benefits to the wider community.
