Everything Eel!

June 17 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Everything Eel!

Eels were once a common sight in our waterways, so common in fact that there were even eel fayres along the banks of the Thames. Now critically endangered these complex creatures need our help. Join us for a fascinating delve into the life of the eel with Hannah from Somerset Eel Recovery Project, A groundbreaking movement to restore eels to the Somerset levels. A talk not to be missed!

Please DO bring a camping chair to sit on if you would rather not stand. You may also want to bring something warm, we will be sat for an hour or so and the evenings can get chilly! There will be free teas and coffee available. This is a free event hosted by TTW’s Wellington Wildlife group but donations on the day to Somerset Eel Recovery Project for all their work and the trouble of coming to give us a talk would be much appreciated.
